- [Instructor] We can configure System Center Configuration Manager client computers to use metered internet connections to communicate with configuration manager. Internet providers sometimes charge by the amount of data that you send and receive, when you're on a metered internet connection. In the administration section, we'll go ahead and click on the client settings and right-click on our default client settings and choose properties. From here, we'll go ahead and click on metered internet connections. And we just have one different drop box that we can select. So we've got a few different options here and the first one that shows allow, allows all client communications. All are allowed over metered internet connections, unless the client device is using a roaming data connection. The next option is limit.
